It's not nice, I know, to let a post about weird infections and hospitalizations stand alone at the front page of a blog for too long. People start to worry.
Unfortunately, five days in a hospital also means coming home to five days' worth of emails and demands and responsibilities. Also, being in the hospital is sleepymaking, so zzzzzzzzzzz.
Posey and I both had our infection sites examined by surgeons today, and it has been decreed that we are mended (her) and mending (me).
At the other end of the baby, she is teething, which makes her fussy - by which I mean Posey-Brand Fussy, which has 60 percent more smiling and peek-a-boo than the other leading brands - and sleepless. Last night she was awake until after midnight, and I was awake for another 2.5 hours after that getting some work done.
But enough about me and my infections and exhaustion. Today is very special.
American Family grew by one today. Congratulations to all four of them.
Yow. I mean, Yow!
But farrrrrr worse than leaving a post with hospitalization and illness up for 5 days is the lackadaisical blogging buddy who discovers she's left no comment wishing her internet friend well.
I'm so glad to hear that you're back home, and just the teensiest bit jealous of your new Adobe package you have there. Oh, to relive the giddy joy of discovering PhotoShop for the first time. My version is now 7 years old, and I fall in love with it all over again everytime I see that come-hither PhotoShop Eyeball pop up on my taskbar.
(I realize that will sound incredibly weird if Adobe has changed the little icon they use to indicate the program is running. Oh, well.)
Anyway. Again, happy you're home. Happy for lovely lab results. Happy for cute new banners!
